AboutFundraising cycle ride across Costa Rica
The aim of the cycle ride is to raise money for the refurbishment of Lytchett ward and its activities room and the creation of an enclosed garden for dementia patients at Poole Hospital in Dorset. Team Dignity - who we are Fr. Mark Skelton is a local parish priest; Amanda Colman works at Poole Hospital as head of Patient Experience; Penny Jarvis also works at Poole Hospital and heads up the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). We will be making a breathtaking 500km cycle ride from the Pacific to the Caribbean coast between 3 and 12 April 2014. If you would like to support our Dignity in Dementia fundraising venture, please visit our Sponsor Us page or contact the Fundraising office at Poole Hospital on Tel: 01202 448449. You may also visit PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) in the hospital's Health Information Centre (next to the multi-storey car park on Longfleet Road) to meet Penny and Amanda and find out more. |
