If I thought last week was tough that was only the introduction. The equipment was the same, very minimal; power bag, sand bag, two diner-plate sized plastic circles, a couple of slam balls, oh and of course the tractor tyre! Six in all, if you count the mountain climb which doesn’t need equipment, a different exercise for each.
The pace is fast, 20 seconds per exercise, five seconds rest before the start of the next, 90 seconds between each set. Just enough time to almost catch your breath and have a quick drink before it’s off again.
It was three sets last week but definitely more this time. After the first couple I lost count. It’s hard work so much so that we split the sand bag on the Russian twist and cracked and dented a floorboard using the slam balls. The dance floor has a sprung floor, ops I am not sure we will be invited back next week.
Good thing Pete suggested ditching some of the out of date exercise machines and using part of the gym instead!
